Since its establishment on 1st May 1976, ASMITA has shown remarkable progress and success in the achievement of it’s prime goal of serving weaker section of the society in and around Jogeshwari. However, it’s management is certainly aware of the fact “YET, IS LOTTO BE DONE ” ! From the outcome of a survey in surrounding area, it is found that most of the students, from economically weaker sections, after having passed out S.S.C Board examination, are unable to pursue further higher or professional education due to various constraints like financial constraints, domestic obligation, lack of proper guidance and high cost of further studies. Therefore, there is a dire need to equip such unfortunate but aspirant and promising students with job oriented vocational training and practical guidance at a nominal cost. Such training and guidance would enable them to build their own careers; and to extend financial support to their parents in a better and dignified manner. They also would be able to pursue their ambitious goal of higher achievements in their professional or job oriented education – which they would choose with the help of our proposed counselling centre. In the present scenario of the modern society, we feel that there is a dire need for social, moral and educational counselling to the students and parents. ASMITAhas already taken a step ahead in this direction. Our group of qualified counselling and educational experts has been functioning for last 4 years to assist the students, parents and teachers of our school. This group is also taking care of some selected students, who are suffering from learning disabilities.

These projects would certainly require additional space with a setup of organisational and administrative infrastructure. With its wide appearance for last 3 decades, and with dedicated self – less services and handwork of it’s trustees, faculties, administrative staff, ASMITAis well-equipped to undertake proposed projects.
