In May, 1976 Asmita implied "You take one step and we'll take ten" and arose as a trust in Jogeshwari with various social initiatives.

    Objective

We provides skills to the physically handicapped in the areas of Tailoring, Painting, Handicraft etc. Our physiotherapy expert provides medical treatment and physiotherapy guidance. The Trust has transport facility for these helpless students. We enables house-wife by strengthen their desired skill, which help them for basic survival child education.

We celebrates Independence day, by setting up blood donation camp, which is organized on every 15th August, in association with a reputed hospital of Mumbai. Various programs and Teachers training are being organized on 'Teachers Day' every year. We celebrate a lot of programs in Matoshri Drawrkabai Madanlal Rajpuriya Sabhagruh at Amita Bhavan.

Asmita is well known for it's marathi medium & semi-english education. We have pre-primary, primary & secondary education, with a sharpening counselling centre to improve education and emotional well-being of child. We provides skill based Vocational Trainings which includes Teachers Training, Electrical, Plumbing, and Automobile courses.
